Professor Sobczyk’s article in “Rzeczpospolita”: The Salary Transparency Bill \u2013 the First Candidate for the Legal Blunder of the Year<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The scale of misunderstanding of the EU directive\u2014and consequently, the number of errors\u2014is so significant that the pay transparency bill needs to be rewritten from scratch. There was a lack of support from the legal services of the Sejm or state administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sejm has begun work on an MPs’ bill amending the Labor Code regarding so-called salary transparency. In practice, it aims to partially implement EU Directive 2023\/970 on pay equality and transparency. Unfortunately, and I write this with great regret, the content of the draft law justifies the claim that we are well on our way to passing a legal blunder…<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
