  • The Commission wants to address the impact of digitalisation in the world of work. The subject of discussion also includes employees’ right to not answer any calls, texts or e-mails in their private time.
  • German employers with an annual average of at least 20 jobs are obliged to fill at least 5% of their jobs with severely disabled people. A compensatory levy must be paid for every compulsory job not filled by a severely disabled person.
  • Spain intends to reduce the number of working hours per week from 40 to 37.5 and introduce a new law regarding the right to be offline.
