Employment of foreigners and immigration law

Employing foreigner workers requires a number of formalities to be satisfied, and so we offer comprehensive services in this area. We represent employers in proceedings for both granting and extending employee work permits. We advise on issues related to the legality of their stay in Poland (especially the permit for permanent stay – a Schengen visa). We draw up appeals and complaints against administrative decisions for submission to administrative courts. Our expertise allows employers to shorten the waiting period for relevant documents and to optimize the costs of their hiring a foreigner.

Polish law imposes a number of duties on an employer hiring at foreigner. Therefore, we advise on the issues that can arise during the foreigner’s employment relationship. Furthermore, we advise about social insurance for foreigners in Poland.

We write legal opinions on issues relating to hiring persons of special status (e.g. members and representatives of churches and religious associations, employees of diplomatic missions and persons performing work in Poland under international agreements).

Posting employees

We know how complicated posting an employee can be, and so we offer comprehensive services in delegating employees in the territory of the European Union and outside the EU in areas relating to labour law and social insurance. We provide legal opinions on employers’ practices in posting employees and identify the risks connected with adopted solutions. We advise on minimizing the risks relating to posting employees. Also, we show employers which European and foreign norms they should comply with when posting employees.
